The House Committee of Natural Resource is holding a full Committee oversight hearing into activities of the Department of Interior. Sally Jewell will be questioned. Watch and see how she responds to questions. The jurisdiction of the committee extends into all areas of public land management including the Wild Horse and Burro program. The meeting is open to the public and will be broadcast here on July 17th: http://naturalresources.house.gov/live.

EDITED at 7:55 am pacific time:

  • We just found out that Sally LIES about wild horse and burro program… There is no validation of the 20% reproduction in a natural fashion. The NAS report stated that 15-20% reproduction, with the higher number likely due to REMOVALS. Thank you Sally for letting us hear you spin in the same way we have always heard the manipulation of language to justify inappropriate actions.
